The BlackBerry Pearl 3G - A New Form Factor For Blackberrys

There is no doubt that the BlackBerry are among the leading business smartphone market, their range of handset has a tendency to be very similar in design, with a one-size-fits-all mentality, with a large QWERTY keyboard and widescreen display. This is fine for business users with convenient briefcase or large pockets of a suit, but not particularly portable to more casually dressed. To meet this need, RIM designed the BlackBerry Pearl, which converts regular BlackBerry experience in a more portable candybar form factor.

the new BlackBerry Pearl 3G Internet design, and provides all the useful range of BlackBerry messaging capabilities in a traditional candybar design with a standard alphanumeric keyboard, and adds 3G connectivity. Pearl uses RIM's own 3G SureType predictive algorithm to allow users to enter your message accurately and quickly, and comes with the standard BlackBerry push encrypted e-mail account and connected container features.

Pearl 3G smartphone has a full range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, plus of course, 3G. It also makes a great music phone, thanks to a regular 3.5mm headphone jack and physical media controls on the upper edge of the phone. BlackBerry Pearl 3G also features a 3.2 megapixel camera and LED flash is capable of producing high-quality snaps.

The owners of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G BlackBerry can access the dedicated shop, where both free and paid programs and games are available for download. Pearl 3G comes with several applications as standard, including those dedicated to Twitter and Facebook. The handset also has a GPS chip that allows users to use Google Maps and other location-aware applications. The memory is 256 MB out of the box, but can be expanded using microSD cards.

the absence of the usual QWERTY keyboard was quickly noticed as soon as you get to typing out e-mail or long text messages, but allows customers the choice of regular form factor design is still a good thing. It's a shame to see it can not be a little higher, but again, it's more a problem with the limitations candybar phones in its entirety by the absence of special Pearl 3G.

more significant problem is the dated nature of the BlackBerry OS. Market business May be more willing to overlook the lack of adjustment and basic, no frills menu appears, but potential customers the BlackBerry Pearl 3G may have a more commercial flavor, but the current OS is far from being competitive with the likes of Android and Apple IOS in terms of user experience .
