Google Buzz - How Will it Affect Local SEO?

Everyone is buzzing about the new social media launch of Google called "Google Buzz". While millions of people checking out the great new opportunities to bring new worlds of communication and it is literally just opened, we are all in search engine optimization of the profession have been asking: "How will that affect local SEO ?"

Let me first point out a few all but obvious strategic advantages Buzz Google has more than the competition:

Google is damn near synonymous with search, what I said, they control the passage! Google Maps is by far the most used applications from the smart phones All Gmail accounts are automatically enrolled in the Buzz Oh Yeah ... and all the new smart phone users who use Android automatically set up a Gmail account
I know you are thinking, they are devious geniuses ... I would agree!

With that said I do not see Buzz downloads Facebook and Twitter in the near future in the social media realm, but from the perspective of local SEO Buzz Google in the very near future will provide more local SEO benefits of Facebook or Twitter will. I will clarify the previous statement in just a second, but first I want to share some of my experiences so far to help you get an idea of how Google Buzz can affect your company's brand and online presence in the near future (yesterday).

I was the "Buzzin ', because they run Google Buzz yesterday. First jump into it from Gmail I apparently was unimpressed. It was not until I jumped from my mobile phone using the updated Google Maps application that is my brain started reeling! You can set a layer in Google Maps application that lets you see all the other people who are "Buzzin 'in your local area. Although it does not lead to many privacy issues (that we are not going to discuss right now, but you can choose not to share publicly), it's really cool!

When looking for businesses in Google Maps and go to place their mobile site is now a button that says "Buzz about this place. " You can Buzz on business you like, you do not like, etc. This is an area where Google leagues heads Facebook or Twitter as well as people who are using Google Maps and search for local businesses will be able to see what other people are saying about this job , as well as an overview.

So how is it all going to affect local SEO? Good question!

First let's discuss what is already in place, and then some to speculate about possible next steps by Google. Deal? OK, so we have found that Google Buzz is built into Google Maps mobile edition, that people can buzz about the company and that other people can see theses posts on your mobile Google Map, so it is quite obvious that we want as much positive buzz as possible, is not it? Makes sense. Also, if someone posts a negative buzz about your company, You May want to respond to his place to help bring them back in and save what went wrong, it will tell other people who see the Buzz that you are concerned about their customers and that this was probably an isolated incident. Yes, if you thought you were avoiding social media, you no more!

Now, let's guess what the next few steps for Google might be. I wrote an article about the future of search and what's interesting to me that what I was speculating about what will come in the next 3 years is partially here with the launch of Google's Buzz and many more will follow in 2010. But, back to our speculation ... It seems to me that the obvious standard Google page location will soon include the "Buzz on the job" feature (Feel free to share your thoughts below, if you agree or disagree). I believe it will also have a section on the Google site Town that says something like "What is the Buzz about this job, " and said the public buzzes on business (again, think of this as a review). I also think that Google would want to add a layer to your desktop with Google Maps that allows users to add Buzz to the same layer.
